This is exactly what happened to Mr Sujit Mohan Choudhury, former assistant commissioner of Kolkata Police. A rare Omega watch, various mementos and medallions received during his student days and three bhoris of gold jewellery were among the valuables missing.
Selling like hot cakes.
IT’S like the ocean on the wrist. Or, as its VP says, it gives the “emotion of going under the water.”
The latest offering from Swiss watchmaker Omega completes at last its series of modern takes to its three 1957 classic watches: the Speedmaster, the Railmaster and, now, the Seamaster.
“We took the watch that was very successful 50 years ago and adapted into it the design philosophy of the third millennium. From far away it looks the same, but we have improved the technology and changed some details of the design,” says Jean-Claude Monachon, VP for product development of Omega Ltd.
Expectations for Planet Ocean are huge. In Europe alone, a single delivery of 30,000 units was sold out in a matter of weeks.

So lets get this straight, you are new ebayer with a feedback of ONE [and that was a buy, Razr V3 in silver when everybody knows Black in the best colour] and you are hawking a solid gold omega speedmaster. You are hawking it for the second time having put three grand on the starting price and dropping the free Patek Philipe [I know, I know].
A little friendly advice:
1. Take some better pictures, they suck.
2. Realize that somebody selling a watch such as this must make just a small effort to appear intelligent. Dumbo’s don’t own Gold Speedmasters.
3. When a fellow ebayer asks you a question try not to show your utter madness in your reply.

Just when you thought the current fashion for large Omega’s had reached its zenith up pops a 1500mm Speedmaster, yes a full 1.5m Check it out!
So there I was walking innocently down the street when I caught sight of this gorgeous Seamaster Aqua Terra. It was just laying there all lonely and forlorn so I made my mind up to rescue the Omega, take him to a better place [my wrist of course]. Imagine my shock when I discovered this new purchase was gaining 12 seconds a minute, thats right 12 seconds a minute! On closer inspection, through as it turns out the rather handy crystal back, it seems we had a “part†floating about.
